Gallery Strega is a place for dark arts and magical goods. Our focus is on fine art that explores the darker sides of existence and esoteric subjects. We represent a stable of artists working in this vein year long as well as having exhibitions that explore these themes more in depth.

We have a curated selection of artisan made goods and thrifted/vintage items for your magical home or black clad closet on constant rotation. (Coming 2024)

Meet the Proprietrix

Howdy! My name is Geneva Baldauf. I’ve been working in the Seattle arts scene in non-profit and commercial galleries for the past 8 years.

I’m an artist and a curator that strives to uplift the voices of artists that deserve to be heard. My pagan practice centers balance and embracing the dark side of our lives. I’ve had a life long fascination with the occult and dark fantasy which informs much of what I do. I’m a huge nerd (read: Dungeon Master for a Dungeons and Dragons campaign) and a horror movie addict, too.

I believe artists who work with dark and taboo themes don’t get enough recognition as the fine artists they are and I’m here to change that. If you feel this is you, head over to our contact page and submit your work! I’d love to take a look and meet more folks out here in the void.
